Pigeons nest inside of their own feces which will tend to build up over time. This disgusting, but ingenious way of building nests can help just 2 mating pigeons reproduce to 16 in a calendar year. We recommend removing their nests before they can reproduce to a small flock of 6-8. If they are left to reproduce the only way to remove even a small flock of 6-8 or more is through a humane trapping program. One of the major issues with allowing pigeons to nest on your property is that there are over 60 different diseases that pigeons and their feces can carry. This is especially worrisome
